Transitional or Edge Profiles
Transitional or edge profile metals are used during the installation process to help finish and protect the edges of tile at transition areas to other surfaces. They can be used to transition tile to carpet, wood, luxury vinyl, laminate, and cement to name a few. These metals can also be used to cap the edges of tile on a backsplash creating a decorative metal finish instead of using bull-nose. Plus, they come in many different profiles for your particular project needs and there are several colors to choose from to create your desired finished look.
